Annual State Convention – April 22, 2017 at 10 AM

The Utah Libertarian Party will hold its annual State Convention at the Salt Lake County Council Chambers on April 22, 2017 at 10 AM. Expect it to last a couple of hours. We will elect new State officers, including Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Legal Counsel, who will be the next State Executive Committee, for two years.
We will also plan for the next two years of growth. We need people to work on events, fund-raising, organizing for campaigns and other activities. Come out, meet your fellow Libertarians, and get involved.
We now have county parties organized in several counties, and will make time available for them to get together and plan as well.
Anyone who signs our pledge against the initiation of force for political gain can participate; but only those who have paid state dues of $20 in the year before the convention may vote on party business. Please consider paying those dues now to help us get our treasury back in order, after the big election last year. Dues can be paid through this website, through our Facebook page, or by sending a check to party HQ at 6885 S. State St. Suite 200; Midvale, UT 84047.
Plan now to come on April 22. And please remember also, when filing your Utah State Income Tax form, to look for the donation box near the top, right side, of the first page, and write in an “L”. This is a refund of part of your state taxes, and checking the box will not increase your tax or decrease your refund.
