An intensive, full day seminar for both potential candidates for office and for those who wish to work to support those candidacies. Because elections in Utah in 2021 are municipal, that will be the focus, but the techniques to be discussed are applicable to other types of campaigns as well.
This seminar will be led by Apollo Pazell, founder of the Libertarian Frontier Project which in 2020 successfully elected Marshall Burt to the Wyoming state legislature, and who is himself a member of the Copperton Metro Township Council. Other speakers will be announced in the upcoming weeks, but you can be assured that you will receive expert leadership from people with real, on the ground experience in both running and winning elections!
You will learn campaign strategies that work. You will learn how to find voter data, how to understand it, and how to put it to work for you. You will find ways to communicate Libertarian ideas and make them resonate with your constituents and neighbors!
The $40 registration fee covers our cost of renting the space for the seminar, and also your lunch which will be provided. The Utah Libertarian Party is working with some of our members to insure that our candidates this year will have more support – and more useful, directed support – than ever before!
Please note that while the registration form offers a candidate or campaign staff choice, the training will be the same. This is for our information only, to help prepare the best possible workshop.
For those coming from out of town, we have made arrangements with the Springhill Suites for a special rate of just $89 for either Friday or Saturday nights. We will be providing that link early next week.
Springhill Suites South Jordan is near Bangerter Highway and 11400 South, at The District.
We have secured a room large enough to seat 50, classroom style, AND maintain social distancing for everyone’s comfort. Marriott properties currently require masks in common areas (such as the lobby), but not once we are in our private seminar. Please be thoughtful and respectful of others. We appreciate Marriott’s willingness to host this type of event at this time.
Should circumstances change we will respond as needed, including refunding your fees should it become impossible to hold the training in “real” space.
